📋 Section 01
Overview & Our Commitment
Our directory charges businesses a fee to appear in our listings. When you pay for a listing, you are purchasing a service — the publication of your business information on our platform for the agreed listing period.
We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Under the ACL, consumers and small businesses have rights that cannot be excluded. This policy operates alongside those rights and does not limit any protection you are entitled to by law.
✅ Section 02
Valid Grounds for a Refund
A refund may be issued in the following circumstances. Each request is assessed on its merits and we may request supporting information before processing.
- 💳
Duplicate or Erroneous Charge
If you have been charged more than once for the same listing, or charged an incorrect amount due to a billing system error, we will refund the excess amount in full.
- 🚫
Service Not Delivered
If your listing was paid for but never published within the agreed timeframe (5 business days of submission), and the delay is attributable to us, you are entitled to a full refund or to have the listing activated with an extended period at no charge.
- ⚙️
Technical Failure
If a verified technical fault on our platform caused your listing to be inaccessible for a continuous period of 7 or more days during your paid term, you may be eligible for a pro-rata credit or refund for the affected period.
- 📋
Material Misrepresentation
If the features of the listing package you purchased were materially different from what was advertised at the time of purchase, and you raise this within 14 days of activation, you may request a refund or a remedy of equivalent value.
- ✏️
Billing Error
If an administrative or processing error on our part resulted in an incorrect charge (e.g. wrong tier, expired promotional rate not applied), we will correct the charge and refund any overpayment.
- 🔍
Business Ineligibility
If, after payment, it is determined that your business does not meet our directory’s eligibility criteria — and this was not disclosed prior to purchase — a full refund will be issued.
❌ Section 03
Circumstances Where Refunds Do Not Apply
The following circumstances do not constitute valid grounds for a refund. By proceeding with a purchase, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
- 🤔
Change of Mind
Once a listing has been activated and published, we do not offer refunds because you have decided you no longer want the listing or have changed your business direction.
- 📉
Dissatisfaction with Results
We cannot guarantee specific levels of traffic, enquiries, or leads from your directory listing. Refunds are not available on the basis that listing performance did not meet your expectations.
- 🏢
Business Closure or Circumstance Change
If your business closes, relocates, rebrands, or changes ownership during the listing period, the remaining period is forfeited and is not refundable.
- 📂
Failure to Submit Listing Details
If you purchased a listing but did not provide the required information to us within 30 days of purchase, the listing fee is forfeited. We recommend submitting your details promptly after payment.
- ⚠️
Listing Removed for Policy Breach
If your listing is suspended or removed because it violates our Terms of Use, Content Policy, or contains misleading information, no refund will be issued for the remaining period.
- 📅
Early Cancellation of a Fixed-Term Listing
Annual or fixed-term listings that are cancelled before the end of the agreed term are not eligible for a pro-rata refund of unused time, unless a valid ground applies under Section 02.
⏱ Section 04
Timeframes
Time limits apply to refund requests. We recommend raising any concerns with us promptly so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
