The Flower Float creates gentle, seasonal flower-growing experiences for homeschool and slow-living families.
Our first offering, The Calendula Season, invites children and families to grow calendula flowers, observe the changes through the season and reconnect with nature through simple, hands-on learning.
Available as both a printable and physical growing experience, The Calendula Season is designed to feel less like a lesson plan and more like a gentle rhythm families can return to over time.
Through planting seeds, noticing growth, journalling observations and eventually saving seeds for the next season, children are encouraged to slow down, stay curious and experience learning through real life and the natural world.
Created by a flower farmer/florist and homeschool mum, The Flower Float offers a softer, more connected approach to nature study, one rooted in curiosity, seasonality and simple moments shared together.
