Why The Homeschool Kind?
The Homeschool Kind was created from a simple and powerful belief: that homeschooling families deserve a supportive, empowering and community driven space to support their journeys and to make the process a little easier. Whether this be finding a tutor, appropriate learning resources or even a hub for social events.
Homeschooling is growing by the day with many families opting for this journey for differing reasons. As of this year, approximately 45,000 to 46,000 children are being homeschooled and that number will only continue to grow.
We believe homeschooling should feel supported, connected and inspiring, not overwhelming or isolating. By bringing together families, educators, creators, and businesses who believe in meaningful learning, we hope to make homeschooling feel more accessible and more connected for everyone involved.
Whilst The Homeschool Kind will feature an extensive, carefully chosen directory of businesses that support homeschooling families, our platform is so much more than that. This is just one element of a much greater vision. Our vision is to create a platform where families can:
